To celebrate Breguet's 250th anniversary, the Reine de Naples collection has launched two new timepieces, one of which is the 9935. This watch is crafted in Breguet gold for the first time, while retaining the series' signature oval shape. The dial has been redesigned with a double-layered design. The upper dial is made of aventurine glass, beneath which is a thin layer of Tahitian mother-of-pearl, its iridescence highlighting the luster of the aventurine glass. Furthermore, the dial features many design elements firsts for the Reine de Naples collection, such as the hour and minute dials, which for the first time feature six pear-shaped diamond hour markers interspersed with gold Breguet numerals. Another example is the moon phase display, which for the first time uses a white mother-of-pearl "moon" paired with a blue aventurine "sky," and is equipped with a new Breguet invisible signature.
Notably, Breguet has removed the power reserve indicator, allowing for a more spacious new moon phase display (at 12 o'clock). This change is also thanks to the new 537L2 automatic movement, which features a larger moon phase display and displays hours, minutes, and small seconds.
